The start of the door repair

The doors on my ZJ were modified to be able to come off. It wasn't done how I would have done it. The door wiring harness of the ZJ can be detached from the door by unplugging it at the door. The plug is held in by one #16 torx. But the OP felt they should cut the harness before and after the plug. So now I have to attempt a repair if I ever want my windows to roll down. I am searching for some doors right now but I still have to repair the plug portion. So here are some pics of what I have done.
I start with the plug.

The labeled plug

What the door jamb looked like

Nicely labeled

Now to do the same with the passenger door. As you can see I was left with a project. But things like this happen, projects get started and for what ever reason they don't get finished. I like the fact that I have electric everything so I will attempt to repair and fix what I can. Stay tuned for more.

MC troubles

I had the brakes working (still haven't bled the system down) but now I'm having more brake issues.
The fluid is gone from the reservoir, I looked around and noticed "bubbled paint" on the booster under the master. I seem to have a leak where the master connects to the booster. Bad seal, I would assume. Is this seal replaceable? Is there a way to test the booster to make sure it is still good?

Fender are done for now.

Finished shooting the fenders with my meijers rubber paint.

I plan on making flares with lawn edging next weekend.

More fender work

Giving wildsper a shot of rubber paint.

I got the fenders all trimed, tabbed, and folded. So now she looks more even. I'll probibly order some flares from JC Whitney. Low price and they don't look that bad, I'll be getting the surface mount.

I ripped the tape off the headlights and they about fell out. The inner "mount" (mount, have no idea what it's actully called) is all jacked up and broke on both sides.

I took a look at the doors, the wiring is all messed up and cut, and the hinges are trashed. There removable doors but the hinges were all messed up.

So far my JY shopping list is;
1.Hinges (body, a pillar)
2. Door wiring harness (all 4 doors)
3. Mount for my lights
4. Back portion of my over head console, and maybe a sound bar.
5. Heater/AC control panel

That's just some of the things that I'll need.

Today I started work on getting the fenders cleaned up. I went and bought a package of cutting disks for my dremel, went home and started work. Here is a photo of the back driver side fender;

It looks pretty agresive but I had to do it this way to fix some issues with the wheel well. The next photo is after I made some cut with my dremel.
 I made tabs about every inch, I needed to be able to fold the tabs under and meet up with the wheel well.. The next photo is how I solved one of the wheel well issues.

I was having some problems trying to get the wheel well where I needed it. I would smack it with a sledge but it was working very well. So I stuck my jack under there and the metal decided to behave.

This is where I ended my jeep work for the day (ran out of cutting disks). It looks a little jagged on the edge but this is due to chipped paint. I haven't sanded the edge yet. But I plan to sand, and spray paint with the some bed liner. I'll post more when I get back to work on her.
